Epic win!!

My cooking extravaganza worked wonderfully. I made biscuits in the evening, just normal boring ones with a tiny bit of garlic salt thrown in for funzies. Then I got my chicken together. Pan, chicken, olive oil on top, Old Bay eeeeeverywhere, bingo. Chucked a carrot, some garlic cloves, and an onion cut into quarters in the pan too, whacked it in the oven, how freakin easy is that? The carrot-potato-parsnip concoction was the most labor intensive, what with peeling and washing everything, par boiling, all that nonsense, but still, its not hard. I threw some olive oil and red wine vinegar together with some salt and pepper, mixed the veggies in so they were covered, then threw in lots of fresh rosemary and a few cloves of garlic, unpeeled but cut in half. Then ovened them in with the chicken, flipping them whenever I thought of it, till they were crispy. Seriously, how easy is this?? Steamed some veggies and made gravy from the pan stuff while the chicken was resting, and bam! kitchen goddess, right here.

Shout out to overcoming British kitchens and their inherent challenges! Woohoo!
