It has been over half a year since I posted anything, my summary of the dancing season. Since then there's been kind of a lot going on. I've been wildly unsuccessful at my job hunt, moved house, danced with a new partner and did pretty darn well, had more than my fair share of social life drama in which I lost a few friends, reconnected with a few old and very dear friends, nearly perfected peanut brittle, got elected to the exec of the dance team here, had one visit home before surrendering my passport into the Bermuda Triangle of bureaucracy, read some only halfway descent books, became a dilettante runner, made a heck of a lot of desserts, graduated, and was over all pretty disgusted with British weather.
I don't have a passport so I can't go home. But I have to move out of my house in just over a week. But I don't have an income, nor do I know where to move to be near my job, as I don't have a car here and can't ride a bike cause of my knee and so would like to be able to walk to work, and I can't get any landlords to call me back anyway. But its a good thing no one has tried to hire me because I can't prove my identity... because I don't have a passport. Great.
But still, sometimes its worth it. Yeah, I'd rather be home where its warm and someone would give me a pity job and I could live for free and see my cats and wouldn't be alone all the time. But sometimes its worth it.
Shout out to whomever will give me a job. I know you're out there. Aaaaaaany time now...
I just want you to know that I'm on team Jo! I'm making t-shirts. They still have pictures of Edward Cullen, but they will say "Team Jo" in magic marker.
