In 6 hours I will wake up and get a taxi. I will take that taxi to Pool Meadow. From there I will get a coach to Heathrow. From there I will fly to the States!! I finally get to go home!
Things I'm looking forward to:
Obviously, family
My cat
Driving a car
Driving a car on the proper side of the road
Take out Chinese food
My room at home, which is bigger than my bedroom and bathroom combined here, and, you know, has my stuff in it
Normal sized fruit
Things being sold in a cheaper currency
Snow
My guitar
Having clothing options
Masa and lasagna (but only if those things will already be happening while I am home. If not, Mama, don't start cooking, cause I love everything you make, and it would be even more fun to make those things with you, and you're not allowed to get stressed about my coming home, cause that would mean I have moved from family member to guest status, and that would just be weird)
No one making fun of my accent (though I fear new expressions have crept into my vernacular and those will be mocked)
Useful, reliable public transportation
DC
The Towson Diner
No more (well, fewer) America jokes
Watching sports (I mean real sports)
Seeing my friends who I miss terribly
Things I will miss:
Being comparatively normal height
And that is all
Shout out to Britain, cause, ok, there really are a lot of things I like about being here, though I'll never admit it!
