New kitchen

Note the addition of clean happy sponges, the pretty shiny cleanness of the counter, and that the cabinet doors now close.

Old entrance way
Floors don't look as awful now, do they? And look! Color!
Old desk
Plants! Photos! The chair is no longer 70's patterned (I guess you can't really see it, but it was navy blue with mustard yellow and rusty orange triangles)! Not so depressing now, are you, Mr. Stavangerweg!?
So there you go. Thanks to IKEA for making it all possible. It is a lot better now. I had already moved the furniture by the time I took the before pictures, so just imagine things strewn randomly about the room in little to no particular order, particularly the wardrobe blocking the entrance way. And you can't see it in the before pictures, but add food to the floor and all over the microwave and fridge. Now imagine the before pictures smelling musty and boy-like, and the after pictures smelling like mango and papaya, and you've about got it. Oh, and the after pictures are not dark and lamp lit for effect, they are dark and lamp lit because I don't have electricity in the front half of my room, which happens to be the part with my overhead lights (yeah, I don't usually use my lamps turned upside down...), cooking appliances, and anything having to do with the bathroom. Because yesterday I tried turning on the microwave and it blew a fuse. And they won't put the work order in until tomorrow. Nice.
Shout out to Warwick Latin & Ballroom, who kicked some butt at Leeds-Keele yesterday. So proud of you! I wish I had been there to cheer you all on!!
Yeah, upon review, neither Ian or I are please with the before pictures. They don't look so bad here, certainly not worth crying over. It was. Trust me. Suspend your disbelief.
